Electric RC trucks are becoming more popular. Some of the reasons for this are that they don't involve the need to wear safety equipment or to operate heavy machinery, and they offer a great way to get into remote control hobbyists' houses without having to build a real truck from the ground up. But what if you want to become a truck racer and just don't have any money to buy a real electric truck? In that case, electric RC trucks may be what you're looking for.

There are a couple of different types of electric RC trucks. The first is what is known as an "urban" truck. These are smaller than regular trucks but they still have a huge amount of power behind them and can reach speeds of over 50mph. They're perfect for people who want to get into remote control racing but who don't have the money to buy a real electric truck. The biggest advantage of an urban electric truck is that they're much easier to repair in the event that they get damaged, making them great vehicles for amateurs.

Another type of electric RC truck is the "extended range" truck. These are much larger than normal trucks, able to reach speeds of over 80mph and able to cruise at higher altitudes. They're good for use in remote control competitions where you're trying to beat your opponent's speed record, but they're not suitable for racing with real cars.

If you've got a little more money to spend, you might want to consider the "race" trucks. These are quite a bit faster than regular trucks, reaching maximum speeds of more than eighty miles per hour. They're also much larger and can easily compete with real race cars, although you'll usually find that they're restricted to tracks with proper speed limit bumps.

If you're really into racing and just can't help but be a real car fan, you could always get an electric RC truck. These can be set up in a garage and you'll soon find yourself spending many a rainy evening chasing one other, all the while adding to your rc car collection! And if you're into sports such as motocross or Formula D Racing, it's even possible to get an electric RC car and join in! This would require a lot of space though and is best suited to people who already know how to build real street legal racing cars. This way you have the advantage of using whatever vehicle you want.

Electric RC trucks can be a great investment if you're willing to spend time and effort to learn how to operate them. They require basic hand and eye coordination and you'll quickly find that they're much harder to drive than similar trucks without electric motors. The most important thing is to pick a truck that appeals to you. There are a lot of options out there and you'll have a much better chance of picking one that will actually perform well by taking your time and considering the features carefully. And once you start driving, it'll be hard not to notice the difference!
