Project Cure is the largest provider of medical supplies and equipment to developing countries around the world. Through the use of their resources of volunteers and generous donations, Project Cure strives to change the world. A SWOT analysis is a model that helps identify and define the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of the company. Below is a SWOT analysis that sheds some light on their current situation. 

S:

1. Well-educated and experienced staff - Project Cure has the outcome it does today because of how educated and experienced the volunteers are. 

2. Well known in the community - Because Project Cure is so well known, the community tends to help    out when it comes to donations and resources. 

3. Good reputation - When it comes to public relations, a good reputation is very important. 

 

W:

1. Very dependent - like any nonprofit organization, Project Cure depends on volunteers to keep their doors open. 

2. Lots of waste - because of the lack of knowledge of  recent medical practices, Project Cure has to throw away a lot of medical supplies because there is no use for it. 

3. Constantly Busy - being such a huge nonprofit organization that plays many roles, there is constantly so much work to be done.   

 

O:

1. Reaching so many people in need - Project Cure provides support to so many people around the world. 

2. Need for outside funding. 

3. Building partnerships with other people and businesses in the community.

 

T: 

1. Depending on outside funding and support for the business to run.

2. Volunteer based - How to handle unspecialized volunteers.

3. Unsuccessful training processes.
