The Problem

Project C.U.R.E (Commission on Urgent Relief and Equipment) is the worlds largest distributor of medical donations to developing countries. Project Cure has the mission of identifying, soliciting, collecting, sorting, and distributing medical supplies and service according to the imperative needs of the world. "Half of the worlds population - more than 3 billion people - live on less than $2.50 per day" (UN Developmental Programee). Since 1987, this nonprofit organization has been making an extreme difference around the world. By delivering medical supplies to developing countries they are not only saving countless lives, but also they are changing the world. Like any nonprofit, this organization runs off of donations and volunteers. Without the generosity of hospitals and people, Project Cure would not be even remotely close to where they are today. In order to make as big of a difference as possible, we need to get as many people and resources involved as we can.

The Solution

Get local hospitals and doctor's offices to get involved with Project Cure. If local medical professionals step in to donate supplies and share their knowledge with these developing countries we will be able to make an even bigger impact. These local medical professional can not only help with donations involving up to date medical supplies and financial needs but they can also help by getting involved in the volunteer process first hand. By going overseas and teaching these nurses and doctors how to use the current day medical machinery they will give them to the tools to give their community a second chance. With the medical tools and knowledge, local medical professionals will help Project Cure reach their goal of helping more people and making an even bigger difference.
